Robin:
Oh my goodness! You are absolutely right. A thousand apologies for my goof. Overall, I think you did a great job and when I become a published author, I hope to measure up. I believe God has given you a special talent for writing action/suspense. Keep up the good work. :)

Thanks for the great review and interesting thoughts! One correction: You say, "If the people were returned to the place they disappeared from, there’s no way Owens’ family would have been at Rice University to greet him." Several hours pass between when everyone is brought back, and Owen is reunited with his family. This is evidenced by the fact that it was night when everyone was brought back, and it's the next morning when the crew exits the police station where they've been giving their statements. Owen and his family live in Houston, where Rice Stadium is located, so more than enough time passes for his family to be contacted and told where to find him.

Regarding the car thing with Mae... Rachel, you got me. You're absolutely right. That one just slipped by me completely!

This book was written during my son Evan's first year of life, (and it was an incredibly stressful year for other reasons too) and he tried REALLY hard to keep Daddy from getting it finished. So I think my average overall was pretty good. Far from ideal, but not too bad, considering!

LOL! Rachel, you're right! I missed that one. I agree that that book needed more editing. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for your comment! I agree, I'd like to read more of Parrish's books. I did notice an inconsistency, but not that one (maybe I'm just so conditioned for a happy ending that it seemed right they should be there?). When the team first finds Mae, she's driving. Later, when she drives the truck to help with a rescue, she tells someone it's her "first time." But I really felt the book needed editing on several levels.
