I’m very happy to be a new member of the Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy (CSFF) Blog Tour. I’m equally pleased that the first book I’m reviewing as part of the tour is from one of my favorite authors, Karen Hancock. “The Enclave” is a faith-based adult science fiction novel and, in my opinion, this award-winning author hits another home run with this book.
In “The Enclave,” Lacey McHenry gains a new start in life when she accepts a position at the prestigious Kendall-Jakes Longevity Institute. However, she finds herself relegated to the frog lab, where a disturbing encounter with a madman leaves her shaken emotionally and physically. Once it becomes clear that Institute security intends to cover up the incident, life becomes very uncertain for Lacey, even after she finds a possible ally in the form of the brilliant, but absent-minded geneticist, Cameron Reinhardt.
Through their unlikely alliance, Lacey and Cameron try to unravel the mystery around them, only to find out that it is much more dangerous than they had anticipated.
Come back tomorrow as I continue my review of “The Enclave” and take a peek at Karen’s other work.
For a chance to win a copy of “The Enclave”, leave a comment after this post. I will draw one lucky winner on Monday, July 27.

OK. I’ll bite. I should have stopped by before now. The book sounds interesting. I just don’t get the Part 1 part. Is it incomplete?
